Rare Javanese Sitting Monkey Sculpture. Originally used on the corner of the rooftop coping on a home to ward off any bad luck. This primitive style piece likely dates back to the early 1900s. The figure's left arm has been repaired; other than that, it is in very good condition. Originates from Central Java.
